Amanda Lagji, Ph.D.
Amanda Lagji is an assistant professor of English and World Literature at Pitzer College, one of the Claremont Schools. She spent two wonderful summers working at Great Books as a Program Assistant, and returned the last two years as an academic director. She has multiple degrees with honors in English and Philosophy from Dickinson College, and a Ph.D. in English from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Her research examines the temporality of waiting in postcolonial literatures from Africa, India, and the Caribbean.
