Christopher Dreeson, whose teaching career spans almost three decades, is currently on the faculty of Belen Jesuit Preparatory School in Miami, Florida where he serves a dual role in both the Humanities and English departments. Also at Belen, Christopher coordinates the liturgies for the middle school music program, serves as the defensive coordinator for the middle school football program, and has inherited the title of “Voice of the Wolverines” as announcer for varsity football and basketball games. Outside of Belen, Christopher plays bass in a local rock band, sings with a travelling big band, tutors students in SAT preparation, and vainly attempts to complete a never-ending “honey-do” list compiled by his lovely wife, Lynne, who has managed to put up with him for more than a quarter of a century. For the last several years, Christopher has been proud to serve as both a music elective leader and an academic director for the Great Books Summer Program at Stanford University and Amherst College. |
