Whether you're well acquainted with the program or are just now learning about us, you might be interested in hearing more about the Great Books Summer Program from one of our prestigious academic directors.
Throughout the school year, we'll be traveling all over the country to meet with teachers, students, and parents to talk about our unique academic approach and fantastic learning community. Our academic directors will visit student classrooms, meet with teachers to discuss the principles of the "shared inquiry" method, and go to the homes of our alumni to deliver sample seminars and answer questions about the program.
Host a literary and informational event in your home or town! A Great Books team of summer staff and academic directors will come to your event to present a shared-inquiry reading and discussion on art, poetry and talk about the program, to share what makes our community so special. What better way to share the Great Books experience with your friends, classmates, or colleagues!
Last year, our visits brought us from Beijing to Brooklyn and many, many cities in between. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 203-350-0037 to us today to ensure that your school is included in our travels!
We'd love to come visit your classroom! Please contact us to tell us that you'd be interested in hosting an academic director in your school or at a gathering at your home. Ask your parents if you can invite your friends and classmates to your house to hear more about the program.
Send us an email or call us at 203-350-0037. Let us know where you are located, when you are available to host us, and what elements you would like the visit to contain. In the past, we have offered classroom visits with sample seminars, faculty in-service, and parent-teacher informational presentations, but please be in touch with other suggestions. Leave a message and we'll get back to you shortly!
