Tuition Schedule

Great Books Online Tuition & Fees

Tution rates for Great Books Online & Writer's Workshop Online are $825 per week. There is a non-refundable $45 registration fee payable with tuition deposit. Materials fee is $50 per week. 

You can attend up to 6 weeks of online programs. Save $100 for every additional session when you join us for more than one week. Please see Great Books Online for more details.

Save $100 for every additional session when you join us for more than one week in Great Books Online and/or Writer's Workshop.

Specialty Courses

Add Specialty Courses to your Great Books or Writer’s Workshop Online sessions or purchase them separately for $250 when added to a core program or $295 sold separately (plus one time registration fee.) These optional programs give you the ability to add time and diversity to your summer program.

Sibling Savings

If two or more siblings attend, each sibling receives a savings of $50 on their tuition for online progams.  

Referral Discount

For each first-time attendee you refer to the 2020 Great Books season, you will receive a $100 savings on tuition.

Payment Schedule

To be considered for enrollment, a student's application must include a $625 deposit.  This includes a $375 tuition deposit which will be credited toward your total tuition fee and a $250 non-refundable registration fee.  The payment schedule for the Great Books Summer Program is as follows:

Deposit of $625 is due with your application.
Please note that this includes a tuition deposit of $375 which is fully refundable until April 8, 2020. It also includes a $250 registration fee which is non-refundable.

Final Payment:  Families paying by credit card have the option to pay in full at the time of enrollment, pay in monthly installments leading up to a final payment deadline of June 5, 2020, or may request that the balance be automatically charged to their account on May 4, 2020. 

An application submitted after June 1, 2020 requires full payment at the time of enrollment. Enrollments will continue to be accepted as long as space is available.

Refund Policy

All cancellations and requests for refunds must be made in writing to Great Books Summer Program Admissions, PO Box 743, Fairfield, CT 06824 or faxed to 1- 203-255-0675.  You will receive a confirmation of your refund request within one week of receipt. There are no refunds for cancellations after April 8, 2020.
