Stanford Campus is Up and Running

Yesterday, the students arrived at the Stanford University campus for the start of this summer's program!  We're eager to hear about their class discussions and other activities, so stay tuned to the blog.

For those of you who aren't familiar with The Great Books Summer Program, you might be interested in a snapshot of a typical day in the program:

8:00 am Breakfast

9:00 am Whole-group lesson:

11:15 am Seminar discussion groups
12:15 pm Lunch

4:30 pm Free time—swimming pool

6:00 pm Reading period

9:00 pm Free time—ice cream party
9:30 pm Informal pod discussions with PAs in dorm
