The Great Books Summer Program prides itself on its diverse community. Great Books has welcomed students from 49 US states and 40 countries including: Hong Kong, Germany, Singapore, Jordan, Korea, Costa Rica, China, New Zealand, Switzerland, England, Japan, India, Canada, France, Mexico, Denmark and Italy.
At the Great Books Summer Program, students spend one, two, three or four weeks on a prestigious college campus, talking about lifechanging literature with caring professors and living the life of an American college student. Our mission is to create exciting, warm, and welcoming communities of outstanding young people who love literature and ideas. It's a unique dialogue-based learning environment for students from all over the world. The only requirement is a love of learning and a proficiency in written and spoken English.
Top US education consultant Howard Greene says, "I can't think of a better way to acquire and apply the thinking and writing skills that top colleges and universities will expect and desire than to spend time at the Great Books Summer Program"
We invite you to join this international community of learners for an exceptional summer experience for bright young minds! Students may come solo, with a friend, or with a group of students from their school.
