In 2020, the Great Books Summer Program will offer one, two, and three and four-week programs at Amherst College and Stanford University; and one-week program at Northwestern University. We will also offer a two-week session at Oxford, a one-week session at a Edinburgh, a special two-week session in Beijing. and a one-week immersive adventure on a Tall Ship. Tuition includes all instruction, accommodations, supervision and recreational activities, and three meals per day with snacks provided. Additional fees below also apply. (Beijing Day Program includes lunch and does not include accommodations.)
All applicants incur a non-refundable $250 registration fee payable with their tuition deposit.
There will also be a materials and events fee of $225 for one-week students, $325 for two-week students, $425 for three-week students, $525 for four-week students, and $625 for five-week students. Materials include the rental of an e-reader loaded with our reading anthology, a book featured in the weekly curriculum, a digital copy of the anthology, a notebook, t-shirt, book bag, water bottle
Students attending two week sessions and students attending our Tall Ships Adventure will have a $225 excursion fee. Students attending three-week sessions will have a $450 excursion fee and students attending four-week sessions will have a $675 excursion fee. Students who attend the Beijing residential program will have an excursion fee of $650. Students attending our Oxford program will have an excursion fee of $750 to cover excursions to London and Stratford-upon-Avon as well as daily outings. Students attending the Edinburgh will have an excursion fee of $450 to cover daily excursions throughout the city. The combined Oxford and Edinburgh program will have an excursion fee of $1,200.
Arrangements for airport transportation to and from Amherst and Stanford can be made for an additional $100 each way. Students who apply to our Beijing, Oxford, or Edinburgh programs will receive information about travel upon registration.
An international fee of $175 will be added for each student arriving from outside the US or UK. Chinese students attending our program in Beijing will not incur an International Application Processing fee.
If two or more siblings attend, each sibling receives a savings of $100 on their tuition.

To be considered for enrollment, a student's application must include a $625 deposit. This includes a $375 tuition deposit which will be credited toward your total tuition fee and a $250 non-refundable registration fee. The payment schedule for the Great Books Summer Program is as follows:

Please note that this includes a tuition deposit of $375 which is fully refundable until March 12, 2020. It also includes a $250 registration fee which is non-refundable.
Final Payment: Families paying by credit card have the option to pay in full at the time of enrollment, pay in monthly installments leading up to a final payment deadline of May 3, 2020, or may request that the balance

All cancellations and requests for refunds must be made in writing to Great Books Summer Program Admissions, PO Box 743, Fairfield, CT 06824 or faxed to 1- 203-255-0675. You will receive a confirmation of your refund request within one week of receipt. There are no refunds for cancellations after March 12, 2020.
Great Books offers a Day Program option at Amherst College, Stanford University, and Northwestern University. Our day camp experience fosters independence, skill building, and confidence. We also invite students in rising Grades 6-12 that live nearby to take advantage of this opportunity.
