Great Books is excited to announce our new On-Campus summer program at Mount Holyoke College, an institution steeped in excellence, hope, and growth.
The college's 800-acre campus includes the Mount Holyoke College Art Museum, the John Payson Williston Observatory, and a botanic garden. It awards the Glascock Prize annually. Alumni and affiliates include notable poets, authors, feminists, academics, entertainers, scientists, politicians, and civil rights activists, as well as recipients of the Nobel Prize, Pulitzer Prize, Olympic Gold Medal, Rhodes Scholarship, Emmy Award, and Academy Award.

Haverford's history of humanitarian and civil rights advocacy, an honor code governing student life, and a legacy of civil discourse make the college the ideal environment for Great Books Summer Program.
An exquisitely beautiful campus, Haverford is home to the oldest college arboretum in the nation. Throughout campus, the ancient oaks and fragrant pines continue to provide shade and calm to the community.

Great Books is excited to return to On-Campus programming this summer at University of Oxford!
Oxford is the oldest university in the English-speaking world, founded in 1096. Its spires and towers soar above a beautiful, tree-lined medieval town filled with the distinguished and historic colleges that comprise one of the greatest universities in the world.

The unique atmosphere of ancient cathedrals, abbeys, a central castle, and 38 constituent colleges is breathtaking to behold, making Oxford a magnet for students and scholars from around the world.

Edinburgh, Scotland

Great Books is excited to offer On-Campus programming this summer at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland!
For centuries, Scottish writing has been at the forefront of world literature with this majestic kingdom's poets, authors, and playwrights - some of the greatest writers who ever put pen to paper.
Great Books literary exploration will take place in the hallowed halls of the University of Edinburgh.

Great Books Online is live, interactive, fun and back for a second summer! Led by the same esteemed faculty and scholars as our on-campus programs, GBO models university seminars and discussions and adds the fun and comraderie of summer camp.
Each week begins with an orientation on Sundays. The program runs from 9:00am-2:00pm daily Monday through Friday with optional special events in the evenings twice weekly.

We offer one-week intensive sessions of Writer's Workshop Online, in addition to our traditional discussion-based literature programs. Aspiring young authors learn nuanced writing techniques and gain experience across genres and styles with our distinguished faculty of published authors and accomplished writers. Available for students in Grades 6 - 8 & 9 - 12.
GBO Tuition and Fees
Tuition for Great Books Online and Writer's Workshop Online is $795 per week which includes a one-time non-refundable $95 deposit.
